Dr. Chang was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. She moved across the country to attend Tufts University where she graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Chemistry. She went on to earn her MD at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA before completing a transitional year at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, MA. In her gap year prior to medical school, she briefly worked in a French-Japanese patisserie in her hometown. In her free time, she enjoys cooking through cookbooks, brushing up on the piano/cello, and traveling.
