Dr. Akinola is originally from Lagos, a densely populated city in Nigeria, sub Saharan Africa where she received her Medical Degree from Lagos State University College of Medicine. She went on to receive her graduate degree in health care management with an interest in quality improvement from Harvard TH Chan school of public health in Boston. For her transitional year, she stayed in D.C. at Howard University Hospital and completed her diagnostic radiology residency at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, Burlington MA. Dr. Akinola enjoys listening to all genres of music and making beaded jewelry.
