Women and Infants Hospital

Women and Infants Hospital is a major teaching affiliate of the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University located on the campus of Rhode Island Hospital. It is 9th largest freestanding obstetrical service in the country with approximately 8,500 deliveries per year. The hospital has one of the largest and most prestigious research facilities in obstetrics, gynecology and newborn pediatrics in the nation. The hospital is the clinical site for the Brown residency program in OB/Gyn and fellowships in gynecologic oncology, maternal-fetal medicine, reproductive endocrinology, urogynecology, reconstructive pelvic surgery, and more. 

Diagnostic Imaging at Women and Infants Hospital focuses on breast and obstetric and gynecologic imaging.  We provide CT, MRI, US, radiography and fluoroscopy services with nearly 25,000 OB/Gyn US exams performed per year.  The department includes a full-service ACR accredited Breast Imaging Center of Excellence performing over 20,000 breast imaging examinations and interventions.
