Dr. Turk was born and raised in Orange County, CA. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in neurobiology from the University of California, Irvine, where he also completed minors in Medical Anthropology and Psychology. He attended medical school at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. He completed a general surgery internship at University of California, San Francisco, and diagnostic radiology residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Dr. Turk is an avid soccer player and music enthusiast. In his spare time, he enjoys attending concerts, traveling, playing guitar and piano, snowboarding, golf, hiking, yoga, and fantasy football.
