Assistant Professor, Clinician Educator
Matthew D. Alvin, MD will be joining the department as a neuroradiologist. Matthew obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana with a double major in Chemistry and Molecular and Cellular Biology. He then obtained a master’s degree from Case Western University Graduate School in Applied Anatomy. Medical school was also at Case Western where he obtained his MD Degree and was AOA. During medical school, he obtained a master’s degree in bioethics from Case Western and an MBA Degree from the University of Florida-Hough School of Business. Matt completed his Diagnostic Radiology training at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He won their Departmental Research Award in 2018 and has been an AJNR Editorial Fellowship recipient and an RSNA William W. Olmsted Editorial Fellowship. He completed a neuroradiology fellowship from 2020 to 2021 at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
