Dr. Sams attended the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill and completed her internship in pediatrics as well as her residency there. She then completed a fellowship in pediatric imaging at Boston Children’s Hospital and returned to UNC for several years as a faculty member. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Diagnostic Imaging at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
